I Hired a Professional Photographer
I am a traveling Evangelist and have been thinking it is time to print up a new brochure to pass out at the churches that I visit. I have experienced a lot of miracles and wanted to put some pictures in the brochure of the people that these miracles happened to. I hired an Austin commercial photography company because I knew that the pictures I had taken would not be good enough. I wanted to have the pictures of two people taken, and I also wanted to have a gorgeous sunrise as well as a picture of a local church put in it. I explained to the photographer what I wanted and it did not take him long at all to give me exactly what I wanted. I didn’t want just a picture of people or buildings taken. I wanted the emotion captured,and that is just what he delivered. It is the best brochure I’ve had yet, thanks to him!
I Have No Idea Why Anyone Would Prefer the Sigma 30mm 1.4 Nikon Lens
I have trouble understanding why anyone would use the Sigma 30mm 1.4 Nikon compatible lens when they can instead just use the vastly superior original Nikon 35mm. The build quality might be a bit lower than that of the Sigma and the aperture is obviously slower but I find these to be worthwhile tradeoffs for the improvements in image quality. For its price tag I expected a lot more from the Sigma and think it is overpriced for what is essentially a very average lens. I have to admit that the center sharpness is great but borders are way too soft for my liking. The lens also suffers from severe vignetting on certain settings, which further limits its use. At least it does not suffer from chromatic aberrations but even this is not enough to save the lens from mediocrity. I realize that I might sound like a Nikon snob but I would take one of their lenses over the Sigma any time.
Canon EOS 7D — Things You Should Love About This Camera
There are things that you may NOT like about the Canon eos 7d camera. However, there are many thiings that you will find satisfactory…
i. The quality of this camera’s image is simply wonderful. The images come with detail. You will have a good time with this camera if you are a street photographer.
ii. It has a very solid build. In fact one reviewer says it is built like a tank. It gives you the reassurance that you are NOT holding a cheap camera. You will also notice that it has weather seals that are quite good.
iii. You will get much out of the battery. Just to give you an idea of the battery life, a reviewer reported that after taking about 500 test shots plus video recording of a few seconds (recorded at 720p), he was left with battery that was halfway.
There are definitely a lot of things that you may NOT be happy with in this camera. However, they do NOT take away from the fact that this camera does have a lot of very strong points.
The Tokina 16-28mm Fares Well Against Its Closest Competitors
Unless using filters is critical to you, then the Tokina 16-28mm is actually a good buy that compares favorably to its nearest Nikkor equivalent. Canon owners might prefer their 16-35mm lens, which can use filters, but expect to pay a lot more for it. The Tokina is a big, heavy lens so make sure to test it on your camera in order to get a feel for it before purchasing. While the Tokina does not seem to be quite as sharp as the Nikkor 16-35mm, it does come with a much lower price tag and is a very sturdy lens. Depending on your type of camera, it can feel a bit front heavy, but the weight is something that is expected of wide angle zoom lenses like this one. It does feel durable however, although you need to take extra care not to damage the protruding front part of the lens.
Mommy and Daddy Photo Booth
Photo booth hire here we come! It is Mommy, Daddy’s wedding on Saturday afternoon, and they will need all the help that they can get. They will also definitely need many fabulous photos to be taken. Mommy is going to look so beautiful. She will be wearing a snow-white silk dress. It will have many white and pearly beads on it and a few tiny diamonds here and there. The dress will have a long veil and there will be many flower girls to keep the dress from getting dirty. Mommy will also be wearing silver colored gladiator hills. Daddy’s eyes are going to fall out of his when he sees her. This is going to be such a perfect day for them. They will both look so lovely. We will definitely see to it that there are many photos taken that day. This will definitely be a day to remember. I am really looking forward to it.
